Hey, I’m LoriO
I write fiction stories centered around characters with strong emotional connections. That can be in a cozy fantasy world or a modern-day slow story. Genre doesn’t contain me.
Sapphic. Spiritual. Emotional.
Born on the East Coast and now based in the Midwest, I split my time between a day job in finance and disappearing into stories. When I’m not staring off into space thinking about my characters, you’ll probably find me traveling, lingering in a coffee shop, or gazing through a bakery window… and yes, I’m judging your coffee order.

NewInBooks Review of The Fall of Velho
“The Fall of Velho is an epic fantasy filled with political intrigue, ancient mysteries, and unforgettable emotional stakes. LoriO paints a vivid portrait of Velho, a hidden civilisation struggling to survive as fear, prophecy, and ambition threaten to tear it apart. Through complex characters and carefully layered storytelling, the novel explores how loyalty, love, and vengeance are forged long before legends are born. A compelling prequel that enriches the series with depth and heart.” —NewInBooks.com
